MORIS Managing Partner Andriy Romachuk joins the Defense Forces of Ukraine
As of November 28 this year, MORIS Managing Partner Andriy Romanchuk has officially become a military personnel of the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, "Khartiia."
He explained his decision as a necessity to maximize his effectiveness during these challenging times by applying his professional knowledge and experience to fulfill the highest civic duty.
MORIS has been providing free legal assistance to service members of the Defense Forces, volunteer formations, and senior military leadership since 2014. However, according to Andriy Romanchuk, this is no longer sufficient—some issues require solutions from within the system at both operational and strategic levels.
During his military service, Andriy Romanchuk has temporarily suspended his legal practice to dedicate all his time and effort to serving.
MORIS team respects, understands, and deeply appreciates the decision made by Managing Partner. We remain committed to maintaining the company’s high standards of excellence while continuing to deliver success for our clients.
About "Khartiia":
The "Khartiia" Brigade emerged as a volunteer unit at the beginning of the full-scale war. Its fighters defended the Kharkiv region and were among the first to reach the russian border during the counteroffensive in September 2022.
Since December 2022, the unit has participated in the Battle of Bakhmut—“Khartiia” was the only volunteer unit in Bakhmut in early 2023.
Shortly thereafter, "Khartiia" became the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine within the "Offensive Guard."
Today, Khartiia’s fighters continue to professionally eliminate enemy forces on the Kupiansk-Lyman frontline.
