About renaming Moskovska Street in Kyiv
In the Pechersk district, in the heart of the Ukrainian capital, on the main tourist routes leading to the Lavra, to the Memorial of the Holodomor-Genocide, surrounded by streets named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa, Ukrainian People's Army Generals Mykhailo Omelyanovich-Pavlenko and Oleksa Almazov.
At the time when the streets in the European capitals, where the embassies of the aggressor state are located, are being renamed in the honor of the heroes of Ukraine, when the world is united in support of Ukraine and our state has become a symbol, symbolic decisions are especially important. With this in mind, we have appealed to the Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko with an initiative to rename Moskovska Street in honor of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom - Boris Johnson, which, in our opinion, is a bold symbolic gesture of gratitude to our allies, who bravely defend Ukraine's interests.
