    On the status of "child of war" in 2023

    As of 7 September, 2023, according to the state portal for searching for children, more than 500 children have been killed by russian aggression in Ukraine, another 1,120 have been injured, and more than 19,000 children are considered deported. As a result, there are "children of war" in Ukraine who need social protection.

    The status of a "child of war" is granted to children who suffered as a result of hostilities and armed conflicts and were under the age of majority at the time of the relevant actions.
