MORIS, as part of the “Corruption-Free Land” project supported by the USAID Agriculture Growing Rural Opportunities Activity in Ukraine (AGRO), invites you to participate in an event focused on combating land corruption and protection against raiding
The event will bring together agricultural producers, landowners, land users, legal professionals, representatives of local governments, and industry associations to discuss the challenges and opportunities in safeguarding land rights.
Forum Objectives:
- To enhance the legal awareness and culture of farmers, landowners, and land users concerning protection against corruption and raiding attempts.
- To establish zero tolerance for corruption and raiding practices in the agricultural sector.
- Topics for discussion:
- Land corruption: Why society should not tolerate it, how it manifests, and its impact on the development of the agricultural sector.
- Proper registration of land rights as a pledge for preventing raiding attacks.
- Legal knowledge for agricultural producers, farmers, and land users to protect their interests.
- Review of common corruption and raiding schemes, including modeling one such scheme to better understand associated risks.
