The 13th Western-Ukrainian Legal Forum, organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association, recently took place in Lviv. Year after year, we traditionally join this event - for us, it is always an insightful meeting with colleagues, providing an opportunity to exchange experience, insights, and mutual motivation.

MORIS partners took an active part in the forum's panel discussions:

🔹Maryan Martynyuk spoke at the session “Starting a Legal Business: An Honest Experience.” During the discussion, Maryan and his colleagues shared their experience in legal business management, focusing on the company's long-term strategy and financial sustainability. The participants discussed how to effectively overcome market challenges, maintain profitability over many years, and, most importantly, how to retain and develop a professional team in turbulent times.

🔹Stanislav Peliuk was a speaker at the “Criminal Practice” session. In his speech, Stanislav highlighted the practical significance of the Supreme Court's conclusions in shaping a legal position in criminal proceedings. He emphasized the need not just to know these conclusions, but to actively work with them: analyzing the circumstances of specific cases, understanding the court's logic, and, when necessary, being able to prove the irrelevance of certain Supreme Court positions. In addition, Stanislav drew attention to defense tools, particularly initiating a departure from the Supreme Court's legal positions.

Furthermore, Andriy Romanchuk, MORIS founder who currently serves as Deputy Commander of the "Lava" Unmanned Systems Regiment of the 2nd Corps "Khartiia," addressed the audience via video message. Andriy shared the tasks the regiment is currently performing and encouraged everyone to continue supporting our army. We always remember the fundamental rule: you are either in the military or you work for the military.
