Between "Survival" and "Victory": An Honest Conversation about Money and the Future at the III Investment Forum by Ukrainian Bar Association
The Ukrainian economy today is an equation with many unknowns. Where to find people? How to protect property? Why is it mostly "locals" who invest, rather than foreigners? At the forum, we decided to find answers to these pressing questions.
Maryan Martynyuk, Senior Partner at MORIS, moderated a session where forecasts met reality. Together with Andrii Dligach, Hlib Vyshlinsky, and Oleksandr Martynenko, we derived 4 key insights:
- Technology is not a choice, but a lifeline. The labor shortage must become a catalyst for technological advancement and deregulation. Without changes to the rule of law, capital will continue to bypass us.
- Business continues to invest in energy and infrastructure despite complex global risks. However, we must already "recognize" our strengths as a country and seek out markets that can boost the economy here and now.
- We must change the perception of Ukraine on the international stage: Ukraine is not about war and corruption; it is about opportunities and a new center of gravity for global capital.

This discussion confirmed that the path to growth lies through complex reforms and innovation.
Our thanks to the partners, organizers, and session speakers for a productive discussion!
